Dan Sheehan, the only coach at Le Moyne
College to lead his team to a national championship, has served
as the men's lacrosse head coach for nine seasons. One of
the nation's most successful lacrosse coaches, he enters his
10th season with a 112-28 (.800) overall mark. Since the turn
of the century, Sheehan's Dolphins are 100-11 (.901).

Coach Sheehan instructs
campers on the important points of team offense. Instruction
in all areas of the game is a priority at camp. |
National Championships in 2004, 2006
and 2007 have placed Le Moyne Lacrosse at the top of the Division
II ranks. He has coached more than 35 USILA All Americans
and more than 45 Northeast 10 All Conference Players.
Sheehan has directed the Le Moyne College Lacrosse Camp for
the past 12 years. The camp has produced several high school
and college All Americans. The Le Moyne College Lacrosse Camp
is now one of the top instructional lacrosse camps throughout
the Northeast.
The 1995 Ithaca College graduate has guided Le Moyne to 7
consecutive NCAA tournament berths - its only trips to the
national tournament in program history. Sheehan, a seven-time
Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year and 2000 USILA Division
II Coach of the Year, also serves as an Assistant Athletic
Director at Le Moyne.
A 1991 graduate of nearby lacrosse powerhouse West Genesee
High School, Sheehan resides in Camillus with his wife Kate,
a 1995 Le Moyne College graduate, their two sons Kevin and
Ryan and daughter Margaret.
